Aletheia Sophia has been described as a joyful wellspring of Holy Spiritedness. She is a Writer, Orator, Minister, Somatic Practitioner and Shepherdess. Her highly acclaimed books, courses, transmissions, retreats, and workshops contain an undeniable red thread – her love and practice of early Christianity.
Aletheia has been a steadfast voice in the movement for the renewal of Christian Contemplative Spirituality. She advocates for the embodied teachings and sacraments to be made freely available to all, in a non-dogmatic and fully inclusive manner. Her commitment to inclusivity ensures that everyone, regardless of background or belief, feels welcomed and accepted in her teachings.
Aletheia once led retreats in many subjects, mainly Sacred Body Awakening, throughout Europe, the UK and North America. She was the hot ticket, whereas something rather extraordinary has happened in recent years. Together, with her husband and mother, they have taken on an 'almighty' project – the restoration of an old Catholic summer house for children into a holy sanctuary for humans and animals, complete with a chapel, Bed and Breakfast, Vegan café, Apothecary of Body Rituals and Animal Sanctuary. They produce a large proportion of their food, keeping goats, sheep, pigs, and an assortment of poultry as companions in a large, thriving permaculture garden/food forest. That long, hard work, which requires her to be outside in all weathers tending to other living things, is her great blessing. Every day, she walks with her 30 goats as they explore old, forgotten Cathar paths, caves, and gorges, gracing her with a deep and nourishing sense of connectedness to the spirit of the place she feels so drawn to share with others.
Over time, she has developed an oral message that stirs the remembrance of a continuous lineage with the Feminine Principle that, throughout the centuries, has preserved its spiritual dignity. She is here to deepen your spiritual journey and to offer you a safe space whilst doing so.

Aletheia resides in the Cathar region of Southern France with her husband and mother. Together, they manage Les Contes, a B & B at the base of Montsegur. Les Contes is a truly extraordinary place, boasting an astonishing healing presence and unique features such as Notre Dame de Sophia, La Source de Belisama, Le Jardin d'Eden, The Mary Path, The Red Rose Cafe, the Apothecary of Body Ritual's, and the Goat Ranch Farm. As an ordained minister, Aletheia can conduct various ceremonies, including baptism, marriage, ordinance, and end-of-life rites.
Aletheia has also designed her clothing range, which she calls Anaiya's Wardrobe and a range of anointing oils called SOPHIA Temple Oils. She is currently alchemizing the waters of La Source de Belisama into "Sacred Source" medicinal holy water for drinking and healing.
