My most cherished friends, most of us have not known war, famine or catastrophe. Our parents may have, our grandparents - for sure. As for us - we've most likely only known stocked up supermarkets, petrol stations full of gas, easy travel, casual sex and freedom of speech. I've often wondered what's going to be our thing? What have we lived through? What's our legacy in the evolution of humankind?
Pete and I live in the French Pyrenees, in the middle of nowhere - and already, we see the changes. People are buying more at the stores; we are buying more at the stores. People are travelling less; we are travelling less. We're buying duck tape, proper outdoor gear, walkie talkie's (well, I got them years back) and rice. We're staying fit and agile, rested and well. Not because we are panicking, but more because we are willing to be prepared. To think this way, to live this way and to pull our head from out of the sand.
I am massively stepping back, and Pete is hugely stepping forward. It's as if he's been asleep with one eye slightly open, and now he's on his feet, organising everything all around us. I sense a new way of life appearing on the horizon. One where the sacred masculine will excel. Here is his holy ground, the birthing bed strewn with the ashes of his lostness and confusion. All the pain of coming undone, not knowing who he is, or what purpose he serves. All that suffering gathers here, as rich compost for becoming.
Because you do know who you are, and you do know what you serve. You are the way ahead and the safe passage. You are calm in frightening situations, steady and brave.
Let's cry out to him, on the inside, and in the outside. Calling for the sacred masculine to RISE, for we shall not get through this without him. He is the one who will 'husband' us, binding us together as a newly formed clan. There will be no more control, no more domination. The feminine is intact with her 'Fuck, No' if she sees it, or senses it emerging. We need clarity; we need 'how to'. We need priority, and we need planning. We need a cool head and an organised mind. We need strength and endurance, steadiness and ability.
He will face this head-on and shoulder every storm. He knows where our water supply is. He knows the good land: he senes the time to stay and the moment to leave. He's seen it all before. He knows how to make a shelter and how to keep warm. When to go underground, and when to rise to the surface. He knows what's up ahead, - because he's calculated it in advance. He doesn't get caught short, or find himself at the mercy of sudden surprises. Armed with a map, compass and solar panel, he can navigate any situation. He knows there will be risks, and he''s willing to take them. He protects the sacred feminine and goes in first all in every endeavour. He lights the way and safeguards the passage.
Now, the sacred masculine is to come forward and see us through this storm to the other side. What is coming now - requires his skill, his ability and leadership. All the sacred feminine work we have done is to be enshrined deep inside.
Now, is the time beloved friends, for her to step back, and for him to step forward.
Be ready. Be prepared. Please don't be afraid - it's the perfect set of circumstances for the transformation we so desperately need.
